The directory covers US data brokers and people-search sites, plus Canadian and Australian sites — look for the country pill on a listing if it's not US-based. We don't yet have UK coverage.
Each broker's opt-out steps are checked against that broker's own current opt-out or suppression-request page. Brokers change their processes without notice, so if a page here ever seems out of date, the direct link to the broker's own opt-out page (on every entry) is the reliable fallback. A handful of sites we looked at didn't make the cut — a broken or unreachable opt-out process, or conflicting instructions on the broker's own pages — rather than publish steps we couldn't verify.
