How to opt out of Spy Dialer

A reverse phone/email/address lookup tool.

Steps

  1. Go to spydialer.com, scroll to the footer, and click "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" — or navigate directly to https://www.spydialer.com/consumers/ and click the "START" button (this opens the removal wizard at /consumers/wizards.aspx).
  2. Select your state of residence from the dropdown, then check the box confirming you're not a robot (CAPTCHA).
  3. On the privacy-law notice screen, click "Got it, continue."
  4. Enter your information in the wizard's fields exactly as it may appear on Spy Dialer: First Name, Last Name, Phone number, Email, and full street Address (street, city, state) — the site notes it needs your full address to match records even though the address isn't shown publicly on listings. Add each field you want cleared; several guides recommend first searching spydialer.com for your own name/number so you only submit data the site actually has, rather than adding extra info it doesn't already hold.
  5. Review the matched record(s) shown, then confirm you want to opt out — click "Opt-Out My Info," and confirm again on the "Are you sure you want to delete all your records?" prompt.
  6. Wait 24-48 hours, then search spydialer.com again by your name and phone number to confirm the listing is gone.
  7. Because Spy Dialer periodically re-scrapes public records, re-check every few weeks to months and repeat the opt-out if your info resurfaces.

Processing time: Typically 24-48 hours; some users report the confirmation screen appears instantly, with the actual delisting following shortly after

Worth knowing: Spy Dialer regularly refreshes its database from newly scraped public records/sources, so opted-out numbers can reappear later (one guide: "if we take it down on Tuesday, it could be back up by Friday") — periodic re-checking and repeat opt-outs are necessary for lasting suppression.
